Established to offer hardware services and software solutions to the banking system in Iran, and to meet the growing and expanding requirements and needs of the country’s banking system, ADONIS Electronic Services Development C0.( ADONIS, for short ), started its activities in 2012. The main shares of ADONIS, are held by top three private banks of the country, namely; Saman, Pasargad and Mellat Banks ( respectively ). ADONIS, for the time being, is one of the country’s leading companies in offering hardware products, such as: ATMs about which, it supports 3 major , well- known ATM brands in Iran, i.e. Wincor- Nixdorf, Eastcom( which is fully compatible with Wincor- Nixdorf ATM ), and NCR ATMs, Cash acceptors, CRS(Cash Recycler System) and banking kiosks( Cashless ATMs ), as well as software solutions, to cover automated banking terminals, software to steer automated equipment networks and other related software, and also Monitoring System Software, through all of which, the company plays a great role in expansion of electronic services of the country. Having utilized the cooperation of 450 technical expert personnel, considered as its human capitals, who form a dynamic and creative team in producing software, from one hand, and a professional and agile maintenance team in 56 technical bureaus, from the other hand, and having 16 workshops, and enjoying 22% of market share by supporting 13000 ATMs all over the country, ADONIS offers relevant services and new banking products to Iranian banks and financial institutions.
Products
This is a cash acceptor/ dispenser self- service banking terminal, Model CDS6060Plus (FT Series), which is able to accept and dispense cash, simultaneously. It accepts a bunch of current banknotes with different denominations from the customer, recognizes and validates the amount of each note, rejects the invalid or counterfeit notes, then, and after separating the notes by denominations, it sorts and transfers the remaining notes into different cassettes installed in the terminal for storage and re- dispensing. The customer’s final amount of notes is immediately transferred into his/ her account, and added to the previous amounts of notes kept in the cassettes. The new balance of the cassettes is updated in the central site. Banknotes necessary for dispense operation, are provided by acceptance process of the terminal, without requiring the time consuming and costly treasury process. Thus, the customers’ idle cash, are collected and entered into cash payment process. Besides, the damaged and ragged notes, are separated automatically

Terminal software groups are based on NDC/ ISO8583 protocol. Being capable to be installed on ATMs, Cash Acceptors and Banking Kiosks, the software makes it possible for the terminals to perform all banking services accordingly. The software groups include the following
Banking Kiosk Software: All services, rendered by ATM, except for cash service, are defined in the software
Cash Acceptor Software: Installed on Cash Acceptors, the software makes it possible for the terminal to perform cash accepting and all banking transactions, except for cash payment services
Teller Cash Recycler ( TCR ) Software: The software makes it easy for the bank staffers to perform time- consuming processes of cash accepting/ cash payment, for them
Smart Teller Machine ( STM ) Software: In addition to do services rendered by ATMs, the STM software performs processes such as; opening different types of deposit accounts, issue cash cards and replica cash cards, and issue banking account invoices. If supported by the switch, the information concerning different types of loans and the required steps to grant these loans, can be obtained through the software. Refunding loans, online transfer of cash to destination accounts, buying electronic tickets, etc., can also be done via the software
This is an efficient centralized system, which makes it possible for users to monitor the whole status of banking terminals in terms of services available to the customers, and possible problems of the terminal, as well as sending/ receiving information needed by the banks
